With 30 years of combined experience in commercial property, Andrew has the expertise required to ensure clients are well informed about their Queenstown property acquisitions.

Having led the Colliers International Queenstown Office commercial valuation and property advisory team for 11 years, Andrew offers unparalleled knowledge about tourism assets together with retail and office assets, and strong market knowledge in relation to the Southern Lakes region.

Q Property represents Hamish’s second tour of duty in the Queenstown Lakes area as a registered valuer. Having previously worked in property valuation and development in the early 2000’s, a move to Sydney, Australia in 2014 provided Hamish with the opportunity to develop deep skills as a commercial valuer and development consultant.

From office to retail, industrial to investment, land subdivisions to government land transactions, Hamish brings an incredible depth knowledge and attention to detail to Q Property clients.

When not leveraging his decades of expertise, Hamish can be found outdoors across the Queenstown Lakes district and the West Coast.

Hailing from Adelaide, South Australia, Craig brings over 16 years experience in the property industry, 14 of which include valuation and consultancy services.  Working with some of Australia’s largest property valuation and advisory organisations, including Herron Todd helped to form Craig’s passion for excellence in customer service and accurate detailing.

Craig moved to Queenstown Lakes in 2010, starting the Q Property business in 2021.

Outside of the office, Craig explores mountains, shoots hoops and takes in all this district has to offer.

Barry joined Q Property as a partner in 2023 after seven years at Colliers Queenstown where he was a shareholder and director. Barry specializes in lifestyle, high-end property and residential properties.

Completing a Bachelor of Science in Valuation, Auctioneering and Estate Agency from the Technological University of Dublin in 2008, Barry initially worked in fine art valuation.

In 2016, Barry joined Colliers as a graduate valuer, being awarded a Membership of the Property Institute of New Zealand in 2020.

Barry is a Past Chairman of the Central Otago Branch of the Property Institute of New Zealand, and currently sits on the executive committee of the Central Otago Branch.

In his spare time Barry enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. Barry has a passion for writing, he has published two novels under BJM Murphy, The Bog Hole in 2020 and Tarrare in 2022.

Originating from Ireland, New Zealand has been home since 2011 and he became a NZ Citizen in July 2022.

Ben is a Queenstown local having grown up in Arrowtown, working locally as a valuer for some 10 years now. While Ben specializes in prestige residential and lifestyle property, he is experienced in all manners of valuation having experience in commercial valuations, rent reviews, insurance assessments, subdivision, and development valuations, as well as compensation assessments under the Public Works Act.

Ben is a prominent member of the valuation profession in New Zealand. He currently sits on the board of the Property Institute of New Zealand (PINZ), as well as a member of the Finance Audit and Risk Management Committee for the New Zealand Institute of Valuers and PINZ. He is a trustee of the Valuers Education and Integrity Foundation and sits on the committee of the PINZ Central Otago branch. He was also a named finalist for the Young Property Professional of the year award in 2023.

Dawn joined Q Property in 2023 following a year and a half at Colliers Queenstown.

Dawn completed her Bachelor of Land and Property Management, Majoring in Urban Valuation from Lincoln University in 2021. Dawn also spent two years at The University of Canterbury exploring entrepreneurship and Law.

After being raised and educated in Canterbury, Dawn moved to Queenstown to start her career in valuation, beginning in 2021 as a graduate valuer with Colliers.

Dawn sits on the Central Otago Branch Property Institute of New Zealand executive committee and leads a nationwide valuation study group in efforts towards her registration in 2025.

In her spare time, Dawn enjoys spending time connecting with friends and family, and being in the hills, mountain and water.
