With 30 years of combined experience in commercial property, Andrew has the expertise required to ensure clients are well informed about their Queenstown property acquisitions.

Having led the Colliers International Queenstown Office commercial valuation and property advisory team for 11 years, Andrew offers unparalleled knowledge about tourism assets together with retail and office assets, and strong market knowledge in relation to the Southern Lakes region.

Barry joined Q Property as a partner in 2023 after seven years at an international valuation company in Queenstown where he was a shareholder and director. Barry specializes in lifestyle, high-end property and residential properties.

Completing a Bachelor of Science in Valuation, Auctioneering and Estate Agency from the Technological University of Dublin in 2008, Barry initially worked in fine art valuation.

Awarded a Membership of the Property Institute of New Zealand in 2020.

Barry is a Past Chairman of the Central Otago Branch of the Property Institute of New Zealand, and currently sits on the executive committee of the Central Otago Branch.

In his spare time Barry enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. Barry has a passion for writing, he has published two novels under BJM Murphy, The Bog Hole in 2020 and Tarrare in 2022.

Originating from Ireland, New Zealand has been home since 2011 and he became a NZ Citizen in July 2022.

Hailing from Adelaide, South Australia, Craig brings over 16 years experience in the property industry, 14 of which include valuation and consultancy services.  Working with some of Australia’s largest property valuation and advisory organisations, including Herron Todd helped to form Craig’s passion for excellence in customer service and accurate detailing.

Craig moved to Queenstown Lakes in 2010, starting the Q Property business in 2021.

Outside of the office, Craig explores mountains, shoots hoops and takes in all this district has to offer.

Heather Beard is a highly respected Registered Valuer with over a decade of experience in the property valuation sector, based in Queenstown, New Zealand.

She provides a comprehensive suite of valuation services, encompassing commercial, industrial, going concerns, large-scale portfolios, compulsory acquisition, and dispute resolution, delivering crucial market insights for clients across Central Otago and the Southern Lakes region.

Heather is actively involved in industry leadership, serving as the Southern Region Councillor for the New Zealand Institute of Valuers (NZIV) and as the immediate past president of the institute. She also contributes her expertise through roles on the Finance Audit and Risk Committee, chairs the Education Committee, and has been a member of the Land Valuation Tribunal since 2020.

Recognised for her expertise and integrity, Heather regularly contributes to market reviews and property outlook reports that inform key decision-makers within the real estate industry.

Based in Cromwell and servicing the wider Central Otago region, Matthew Crowther is a registered valuer specialising in commercial, development, and industrial property. With nearly a decade of dedicated experience working within the locality, he has developed an in-depth knowledge of the diverse property markets across Queenstown, Wanaka, Cromwell, Alexandra, and surrounding areas.

Oliver completed his Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Property from Massey University in 2025. He is working towards his registration in 2029.

Iain specialises in Commercial and Development valuations in the Wanaka region and has over two decades of valuation experience.

Mark joined the team at Q Property Valuations in launching Q Property Management Ltd in June 2025 as a Partner and Director.

With a deep knowledge of the Queenstown premium rental market and a passion for matching discerning tenants with exceptional homes, Mark brings a refined and personal approach to property management.

Mark is known for his strong relationships, clear communication, and commitment to ensuring both owners and tenants enjoy a seamless, stress-free rental experience.
